Above, Brian is leading the media scrum to interview the relatives of pop legend, Prince, after the results of the court hearing were made public after his untimely death.  Brian produced and anchored the broadcast for the primetime ABC Extra show, live from the courthouse in Chanhassen, Minnesota USA in 2016.

Brian is an experienced broadcaster, journalist, and producer/director who can undertake multiple roles both in front of and behind the camera.  

 

Behind the scenes, Brian contributed to the BBC team's accomplishment of securing 4 Royal Television Society awards from 1999 to 2004. Notably, he conducted interviews with G-8 world leaders during the 1998 G-8 Summit.

 

As a director-cinematographer, he, alongside producer Rick Bayles, earned the Creative Excellence Award at the 2001 US Film and TV Festival in Chicago for the documentary "Millennium Bridge."

 

In front of the camera, Brian is a seasoned TV host, emcee, and actor. His proficiency shines in live TV hosting, including a groundbreaking moment at Florida Fashion Week in 2012. His forte lies in unscripted television, evident through prestigious documentaries like "Robert Browne – The Rebel Who Inspired a Nation."

 

In the early 1990s, Brian delivered lectures on video and TV production at Salford University in Greater Manchester, UK. Recent years saw him imparting knowledge on the same subject across North American educational institutions, supported by Panasonic Broadcast.

 

Brian's expertise extends to designing and overseeing broadcast and corporate video studio development, and training staff for optimal functionality. He has also directed teams in vision mixing to broadcast numerous live sports events each season from the USA back to the UK and Europe.

 

In a consultative capacity, Brian played a pivotal role in establishing Weather Nation, a 24/7 meteorology service headquartered in Excelsior, Minnesota, USA. This model was successfully replicated across the USA, establishing a lasting impact.
